We arrive home Monday night in our family car. We wake up the Tuesday morning and walk to said car.

Car key is missing from our pockets.

We tear every corner of the house up.

We give up.

We decide to do dishes as we can't leave the house. We turn on disposal....We find car key.

We are still dumbfounded.

I've just returned home from a luxuriously long vacation. These past 18 days have been filled with laughter, shopping, canoeing, horseback riding, friendships, family, home cooked food, good wine, Lake Tahoe, fireworks, coffee on the porch and some much needed time for reading, thinking, sketching and relaxing. I love coming home with new eyes and a refreshed spirit....Simply lovely!

The studio is a complete mess this morning and,in my overwhelmed state, I decided it's time a French press coffee break. I love French press coffee and you can bet that it's not the last time I write about it's wonders (just what makes it taste so smooth and why does it sooth my heart?).
